STEP 1: To submit an application, visit the Application Information page.

Our Application Information page provides the link for submitting an application. It contains important logistical details about HMUN Australia 2024, so please be sure to read it thoroughly before starting and submitting your application for the conference.

The page also contains detailed information about using MUNBase, the registration platform for HMUN Australia. All prospective delegates will need to create an account on MUNBase, and submit their application on MUNBase after submitting payment via the Typeform. The platform will also be used for other purposes, such as subsequent communications about country assignments.

Should your application be rejected, all fees will be refunded.

STEP 2: Submit payment.

After submitting payment, wait for the HMUN Australia team to accept your application on MUNBase, and you will automatically receive an acceptance email. Therefore, you should regularly monitor your email inbox (including your spam folder, as the acceptance email may sometimes arrive there).

Please be sure to review the Application Information page to determine which Delegate Fee(s) apply to you.

Please note that your attendance at HMUN Australia 2024 cannot be guaranteed until full and correct payment is successfully received.

STEP 3: HMUN Australia will review applications on a rolling basis.

Submit an application on MUNBase following the instructions provided on the application guide. Once you have submitted your application, the HMUN Australia team will review it on a rolling basis.

Please be sure to regularly monitor your email (including your spam folder) after you submit your application.

If it has been more than 7 calendar days since you have submitted your application, and you have not yet received an email regarding the status of your application, please log back into your MUNBase account to check the status. If it still shows as pending, please contact us via australia@hmunaustralia.org.

STEP 4: HMUN Australia will release country assignments on a rolling basis.

For delegates that have made a full and correct payment, HMUN Australia will release country assignments on a rolling basis.

When country assignments are made available for a specific delegate(s), the HMUN Australia team will notify the delegate(s) via email.

Please note that country/committee assignments will not be made for delegates who have not completed full and correct payment.

STEP 5: Upload name(s) and Liability Waiver(s) to MUNBase.

You will need to access country/committee assignments via MUNBase. If country/committee assignments have already been completed, then you will automatically see all of the country/committee positions that have been assigned. You will also see an option to assign a delegate name to each of those positions.

Please provide the delegate name(s) via MUNBase as soon as possible.

Additionally, please fill out and sign the HMUN Australia Liability Waiver. This should be uploaded to MUNBase next to each delegate name. Your file upload should be in .pdf format. This is due by May 15th, 2024.

Please note that you will not be able to upload names or the Liability Waiver to MUNBase until after you have received your country/committee assignment(s). HMUN will only begin assigning countries after we have processed your application, accepted your delegation, and received full payment from you. As such, delegates/delegations should apply and pay as soon as possible, to ensure that they have ample time to upload delegate names and liability waivers to MUNBase before the May 15th, 2024 deadline.

STEP 6: Upload position paper(s) to MUNBase.

Position papers are required of all delegates at HMUN Australia. Each position paper must be uploaded to MUNBase next to each delegate name (i.e. each country/committee position that has been assigned), similar to the Liability Waiver. The button for uploading a position paper is clearly labeled in MUNBase.
